just to update you guys on my decision making.. i'm leaning more towards minnesota right now.. as long as i get to travel/do hiking trips once in a while, the u wouldn't be too bad:)
I would love you to be closer of course (like right now Kali is having a rough patch and really longs to be with us for a bit) - but you need to choose for right reasons. I still believe Madison would be better - much more Jews, great Hillel - many new folks from Chicago, New York, LA and International places as well as farm local kids from around rural Wisconsin. More nature and more open spaces. Skiing close by, nature trails (although Minnesota also has beautiful trails along the Mississippi, great parks for cross country skiing and then the ski- mountains about an hour away.)
